Simeone went 5 innings, 4 runs scored off of him, 2 of the runs were earned. He has had 7 starts this summer, and he has gone 5 innings in 5 starts, and made it through 6 innings in 3 starts. He now has an ERA of 2.83 for the summer in 41.1 innings, with 66 strikeouts, 11 walks, and 36 hits. I would guess his performance this summer will get the UConn coaching staff to give him a good look as a possible weekend starter when fall ball starts up in Storrs next month. [/QUOTE]
