I just got the worst deja Vu reading this thread. I can't believe we're less than 7 months away from more misery

I hope we will be playing USF in November, since they'll be at The Rent...

I know it's not on UConn's fault but TBD is awful for game times. Hard to buy tickets and plan when you don't know game times.

I have a tough time counting 4 W's on that schedule.

Edsall should like the spread of the schedule.

All but first game and Navy are on Saturday.

Only one short week game (Navy) and that comes after home against Houston and road at Gillette.

Two games and then a bye week leading to first road game. Eight games, bye week, then final two games.
2-8-2 schedule for game-bye-game-bye-game.

This is about as good as we could've hoped for.

The short week before Navy is unfortunate.

USF & Houston in October instead of late November isn't great, but probably a good move by the league at this point. We can't expect any favors from the schedule makers.

I agree with Randy 2 8 2 is kind of crumby. I think 6-6 is ideal 7-5 or 5-7 ok If you need 2 byes I’d go for 2-4-6.

All that said this is both an interesting schedule and if we are ant good at all one that sets up for some wins. I see 6.

Much better chance for UConn to get the season off on the right foot than last year. Opening with Wagner(last year UCF, ugghhh) then a home game with the Big 10's predicted worst team(Illinois). A week off to fine tune for a trip to Indiana who will have Ohio St the week before and Mich. St the week after. Great spot for the Huskies to meet up with the Hoosiers. Losing Pindell is a damn shame but over all the team should be improved. Optimism and a little luck it sure would be nice to see a 3-0 Husky team head into UCF.
