UCF wins!! The only reason I want to see the AAC win is that I hate the thought of the P-5 dominating D-1 football. The more parity in college ball the better. If there wasn't parity in the NFL it would not be as popular as it has become. I know it's a futile wish and that's a shame.

In the grand scheme of things does a 3-loss AAC team beating a runner-up Conference USA squad before 28,000 people (?) in a meaningless exhibition game do anything to head off P-5 dominance?

No, but #17 Memphis facing #10 Penn St in the Cotton Bowl does. And Temple plays a P-5 opponent in N. Carolina. Navy plays Big-12 foe K. State and Cincy plays BC so the AAC at least has its foot in the door.
