And Jackie Young is firmly entrenched in the wing spot for now. Still, MM and Niele Ivey saw talent and decided to go after it. - This year works well for overall team progress. PG Jordan Nixon, guards Katlyn Gilbert and Abby Prohaska and forward/center Danielle Cosgrove can all learn and get some playing time (particularly for Nixon) before challenging for extended playing time their sophomore years once Arike, Marina, Brianna Turner and Jessica Shepard all graduate.
