I have to say that I get concerned when players strike out in a third of their at bats, that many strikeouts are not a sign for continued success. Not counted in the at bat total is the 20 walks he got, an absolutely huge total considering the number of at bats he had. In addition to the big totals in both walks and strikeouts, Maycock showed good power when he did make contact, producing 6 doubles and 3 homers. The regular season is over, but Watertown did make the playoffs. Watertown won their first playoff game last night, and Maycock had something of a typical game, striking out twice and walking once, while scoring a run. [/QUOTE]
