2018-19 AAC Men's Basketball Schedule Pairings Announced

Curious about the dates and final week matchups. Last year the conference really scored by holding those Wichita-Cincinnati games off toward the end.
I too was looking forward to the Memphis game.
At least it's pretty much assured now that Penny's first big recruiting class (potentially Watford, Wiseman, etc) will be playing the Huskies Home and Home.

Can't wait for the year we don't have to play at Tulsa. Those were hard games to watch in the Ollie era, at least.

I get that scheduling is tougher than it looks, but you'd think if we are going to play one Texas team we may as well play the second on the same trip, especially if it spares us an additional trip to Tulsa or Carolina.

Then again, the fact that we draw ECU and USF twice a piece may give us a better shot at the conference title, for those who still care about that sort of thing (it's been a while).

Skipping that at Houston game will be good for my sanity. We're 1-4 there in this league.

How sad a day it is when not seeing Memphis on the home schedule is a dissapointment.

This Memphis regime is recruiting the bluest of blues.
If UConn and Memphis close on the guys they are currently projected to land in the 2019 class, it will give the AAC as good, or better, a 1-2 recruiting tandem as most of the major conferences.
So, yes, it is a bit disappointing not to see them up close this year.
The elite prospects they’re after will predominantly be in the next class but they did well in stacking the 18 class with quality 4 year guys.
