Could we end up with five if Crystal Dangerfield gets added to the list for the mid year update?

Looking at the list, I say UConn will have another Naismith Women basketball winner.

Could we end up with five if Crystal Dangerfield gets added to the list for the mid year update?

Sort of doubt Crustal will get added - she will get her chance in coming years. The list like the HS one is pretty inclusive at this point - very few of those on the list have a legitimate shot at first team, let alone POY.

We have had players win the Naismith in 3-year spans. We've had 3 spans. Can we make it 4? Or do we start a new streak next year?

I have a suggestion for the committee that will save time and space when they announce the selections in the next two years. Just write "UConn, first & second teams", and then list the other forty players selected. If we have four of them on the list now, and there are no seniors in the group, the next lists should have a definite UConn flavor (understatement of the season). I'll stop here as I'm starting to channel Tony C's optimism again!
