2017 baseball Alumni game

Got a notice in the mail today announcing that UConn baseball's Alumni game this fall will be held on Sunday, September 24th.

Funny thing, the first thing I thought of when I first heard about the rescheduled UConn football game with East Carolina on September 24 was that it would be opposite the UConn baseball barbecue and alumni game. I guess I have a one track mind. Well, UConn baseball has now rescheduled the alumni game festivities to to Saturday, September 23 in order not to conflict with the rescheduled UConn football game.

Willy Yahn, Alex LeFevre, and Aaron Hill were all at the alumni game today.

Injury report from the alumni game. Randy Polonia, still recovering from surgery, was manning the radar gun. Isaac Feldstein was on crutches, as he recently had knee surgery. I believe I heard that he should be active again in 4-6 weeks. John Toppa just had elbow surgery, should be ready in November, and freshman Robby Jones was a no show as he has strep throat.

2B - Christian Fedko
SS - Prato
3B - Moriarty
RF - Stefanski
CF - Mike Woodworth
