Anyone planning on being there? Travel info below:

Flights:

BOS-TPA: $195 RT (Spirit) or $266 (American)
BDL-TPA: $285 (Jetblue) or $343 (American)
HVN-TPA: $392 (American)
LGA-TPA: $210 (American)

Hotels:

Best Option- Tampa Stadium Hotel ($69) 1 mile from Raymond James Stadium

Others: Hotels.com - hotels in Tampa, Florida, United States of America

Would love to see a lot of Huskies there for this game

A definite maybe.

It's relatively close to my birthday so I can use that excuse to go.

Work schedule has a good chance of being rotten in October.

If I can make, I'll be there.

Hmmm - was that formerly a holiday inn? I think I stayed there in 2010. It's just down the road, you can walk to the game if you need to but they also had shuttle service.

Working on travel plans for that game. Would be 5 years in a row I headed to FL for a road game.
USF in 2012
UCF 2013
USF 2014
UCF 2015

Love the October games down there. I am usually able to get the wife to commit if I throw in a few days around Universal's Halloween Horror Nights and Disney's Food & Wine Festival at EPCOT. No really, twist my arm for that.

I believe so but am not 100% certain. It looks like a solid option for someone just coming in for the game though and not too worried about having crazy amenities and things.

Technically I believe it was a Holiday Inn Express. At the time it was clean and a short drive to the stadium and parking lots.

Other than Temple, USF (along with UCF) is really the easiest road trip. 3 hour flight and there are always reasonable prices to florida. Plenty to do on the side. Great weather. Lots of hotels all around, pick your price and amenities. USF stadium is of course very nice, I think the word was that UCF was bland....but lots of scenery to make up for it. If we're still playing them, I'll be coordinating a couple of family vacations around these games over the next few years.
