Any word on what preseason tournament UCONN is playing in for 2016? I know we're playing in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off in 2015 and then assuming it holds up we're playing in that huge Nike Tournament in 2017 but I haven't heard anything about 2016. I recently read an article on ESPN by Andy Katz that Duke is headlining the Hall of Fame Tip-Off at Mohegan Sun in 2016, Any chance we play in that? If I was Ollie I'd love a shot at Duke early in the year at a "neutral" site game at Mohegan.

No word. Most tournament fields aren't announced that far in advance.

UConn is actually playing in Puerto Rico next year (2014).
As for 2015, they don't currently have anything lined up. Maui didn't extend an invite for 2015 despite UConn getting one every 5 years like clockwork before that (2000, 2005, 2010).
As for 2016, Duke is indeed headlining the Hall of Fame tourney at Mohegan, and while it would be fun to play Duke in CT, I'd still rather see UConn in Maui that year. I'm pretty sure UNC will be in Maui.
As for 2017, the field for the Nike tournament is going to have to change at some point because of conference realignment. Only 2 teams per conference are allowed (because the overall tournament is actually 2 tournaments played simultaneously), but as of right now the announced field has Georgetown, Xavier, and Butler, which are all new Big East teams, so one of them will need to be cut. UConn is the only AAC team right now, so hopefully they won't have any issues assuming they are still in the AAC then (ugh...)

We'll be in Maui for 2016 if all goes according to planned. Would make sense that every 5 years we're in it

The 5 year plan would have had UConn going in 2015, not 2016, but the invite didn't come. Seeing as UConn is 2 time champion I'm hoping Maui extends the invite for at least 2016.
