This year's Huskies will be as tough an out as we have had. We have 3 very good starters and Ruotolo is great at the end. There is enough hitting to work pitchers over and the defense is solid. Here's hoping to a great regional!

Praying we end up at Virginia. We would be clear favorites to beat the cavaliers, they are aggressively mediocre. Would not mind a rematch vs. Clemson or a placement at Ole Miss either.

All of the regionals are basically in the southeast.

All of the regionals are basically in the southeast.

13 out of 16 host sites from the SEC and ACC. That's pretty dominating.

Pretty much top 16 by RPI. Coastal Carolina was the only one w/high RPI that didn't make host site (but two other SC teams did so ya have to wonder if that played into it and will become clearer w/ seedings). PAC/Big West having a down year,

NCAA baseball regional sites. I'm jealous of the SE portion of the country for the first time.

Crazy to be in this thread thinking back to the first post by @ucjoet where he broke down what needed to happen and rather than going through the back door the team goes out and wins the damn tournament. What a season it has been.

I know a lot of teams are hoping not to see penders crew in their region

In college baseball three top of the line starting pitchers plus a top notch reliever can take you a long way. UConn certainly has that and more.

So the way I am seeing this is I have an 8 in 14 chances of going. 8 of those sites are within good driving distance of Atlanta. Then I figure Tulane is going to stay regional in either Baton Rouge or Lafayette and so they would not put us in the same site as Tulane. And East Carolina will probably stay local to Raleigh or maybe Charlottesville so we would not go there either. Hoping for Clemson, Columbia or Nashville as those are the three closest.

Great opportunity to beat GT from the ACC and eventually get a shot at #1. How can you not be motivated for those matchups!
