UCONN RECRUIT' Arkeel Newsome 5 8" 174 All-Purpose back ANSONIA HIGH
The big question of the off-season was who will fill DOBBS shoes?
Arkeel Newsome only a sophomore did just that,
went 23 for 320 yards 6 TDS rushing tonight vs TORRINGTON. 49-20 ansonia
* Newsome had a TD run of 70 yards, very shifty runner with moving hips!
Newsome and Dobbs' were very close teammates, and worked out all off-season before
Dobbs had to departure to Milford. Newsome weighed 150 pounds last season and we
were wondering how he would move with a added 20 plus pounds, question answered.
** NEWSOME IS A EARLY UCONN RECRUIT IN WILL BE IN ATTENDANCE friday night!!
He is a recruit invite, and will be taking his unofficial to the RENT'
