With 27 of the first 32 players in the mock draft Fr., Soph, or Int'l , remember NBA draft is on potential not current performance, RB and DD may need to return for their senior year just to ensure they get drafted.

Many are saying this is a loaded class, best in a decade. So it maybe in the best interest of RB and DD to return for their senior year to help their draft status.

SN is projected at 52,Russ Smith at 50. Kansas with 4 in top 20 and Ken. with 5, four in the first round. All fr. or soph.

KO will be wise to hold their places on next year's team until they make their final decision.

Looks like there is legit first-round talent up until about picks 40-45.

Hard to know who actually enters though.

DeAndre will be a lottery pick, no way he comes back. Player of the year in the AAC and Naismith finalist.

If DeAndre plays like he did at the end of last season, he will go anywhere from 11-20 in the draft. Prove you can rebound, play defense and knock down corner 3s, and you become an invaluable cog even if your handle is shaky.

Boat, on the other hand, has close to no chance. He'd have to seriously up his shooting percentages while doing a better job of moving the ball quickly.

Deandre will be a first round pick with his potential, length, shooting ability with his height and a good performance this season. I also agree that Boat almost has close to no shot in this draft but you never know.

It is also truly unbelievable that I can see every single player in this mock draft being able to contribute to an NBA team. Crazy deep and talented class.

I really think we've been overrating Daniel's draft stock. He is a classic tweener and CJ Leslie just went undrafted as a similar type of player. This year is loaded, so Daniels will have to show off that he has legit handles to have a shot at the first round.
I see him as a middle of the second round at his point. Love the dude thought, he's gonna have a great year

I agree, and Leslie is a better athlete. DeAndre needs to show major improvement in his ballhandling ability. I expect him to be great this year but that won't necessarily translate into being a high draft pick.

Again, I think he is going to be fantastic for us at the 4. I just don't see the defensive instincts or ball handling on the wing that would translate to the NBA small forward

+1. Even if he has a big year - which I think he will - it seems like those penciling him into the lottery are jumping the gun a bit. When you look at the mock draft and see studs like Aaron Gordon projected in the 20's, you know you're going to have your work cut out for you to even get into the first round.

Are you kidding? He's almost a prototypical NBA small forward. Yes, he needs to improve his ball handling. But in the NBA he'll be going against 6'7" guys at SF, not 6'4", and his handle will be adequate.

Deandre doesn't have the handle to play the 3 in the NBA right now. Maybe he will improve. Still think he will be a 1st round pick this year. Don't take this website as the word of God. Jerami Grant as the 15th pick...in this draft? No thanks

This is plain silly. Deandre Daniels will have a big year and will be a first rounder, no doubt about it. After all the maligning on this board about nbadaft.net, I can't believe some people are still putting any stock into their projections.

I think you need to watch more NBA basketball. You can't play the wing in the NBA with a handle like DeAndre's. I like the kid, and I really hope he plays in the NBA, but as of today I don't see it. And this lottery stuff is way, way overblown.

To play devil's advocate, DeAndre just may have as good a handle as Jimmy Butler who will probably be one of the top 10 shooting guards in the league this year. That said, Butler can guard 1-4. DeAndre needs to either improve his lateral quickness to improve as a defender or tighten up his handle if he wants to play any 3 at all at the next level.

Many seem to be predicting DD to have a Rip Hamilton type year, basing it on the last few games of last season. I hope those posters are right, as I am not so sure.

He has a poor handle, streaky perimeter game and is not physical enough to play d or get through screens. He will get there and be a decent 3.

If RB leaves it will just be to start playing professionally, he will go overseas with Shabazz, AO, TO, etc.

Right, he basically just sucks I guess. I think some of you are significantly under rating Deandre. He may not have a year as good as Donyell's jr. Year but I won't be surprised if it's close.
