"Future150's #1 overall prospect in the nation did not disappoint this weekend, winning the overall MVP award. He dominated the game showcasing his improved mid-range and long range jumper, scoring 35 points and hauling down over 20 rebounds. He rebounded, played tough defense, and was extremely active in transition. Right now, he is taking a hard look at UConn, Illinois, N.C. State, Florida, Kansas, Ohio State, Missouri, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt."

2015 PF Skal Labissiere

"Another prospect who thoroughly impressed us was the 6'11" forward from Evangelical Christian School (Tn). He has great skills for such a young post player. He can hit shots out to three-point range, has a pretty baby hook shot on the block, and has great defensive instincts. At the Friday night workout, he had the media in attendance in a frenzy with a beauitful, contested fadeaway jumper from 18 feet. It was a pro move by a prospect who is definitely projecting as a future pro. He currently has offers from Kentucky and Memphis along with interest from Baylor, Tennessee, Auburn, UCLA, UConn, and DePaul."

Also: 2014 SG Ahmed Hill is Class A Georgia POY.

Yes, both are a real talent. Of course Black has the better skill set but It's just Abu's athleticism that I can't get over..

Black reminds me of Le'Bryan Nash somewhat.

Interesting to see Memphis not involved... I know Illinois is recruiting Black hard and ppl seem to think Groce is in good shape.

I am happy to hear that we are involved in the recruitment of so many of these kids, but damn is it too much to ask to get a commitment!?

It seems that every year, fewer and fewer kids commit early. On that Rivals list, 80 of the top 100 players are still uncommitted.

It's also very rare that players commit without visiting the school. Some of the local kids we're recruiting have been on campus for games and/or unofficial visits, but not for official visits. The non-local kids like Peak, Hill, and Black, haven't visited at all yet. I'm sure there will be a number of recruits on campus in the coming months. Seeing as we need a huge 2014 class, I would consider it somewhat concerning if we didn't have at least a couple of guys locked up by the time practice starts next season.
