It would be nice to get another high quality recruit out of Texas to go along with Moriah.

I suspect Geno will be able to recruit more Texas players as UConn should be playing in Texas on a yearly basis with the new Big East teams. That doesn't include Baylor if the home/away series is renewed for more then two years.

Recruits can't take official visits (i.e. visits paid for by the colleges) until their senior years. This must be an unofficial visit, on Brianna's dime.

That is a rule that I think needs changed to include the spring semester of their Junior year. Many, many kids are already working hard on their campus visits and narrowing their choices like your son, Nan, and my own nephew whether they do or don't play a sport. Athletes should not have to put visits off until their Senior year.

Getting Turner would be absolutely huge. UConn would be in the championship picture through 2018. Don't expect we'll hear much for a while, but it's great she's taking UConn seriously enough to visit this early on her dime.

If you look at the bottom-most story on her Hoop Gurlz entry, you'll see that she was listed as 6'3" in November 2010; the same height she's listed at now.

Although we're used to seeing plenty of misinformation re: player height, it looks like maybe BT is done at 6'3" unless she gets a late growth spurt, or unless her current height is being misquoted (as happened with Bria).
