It could depend on what happens with Bazz possibly leaving or if they feel confident with Kendal Yancy-Harris. At this point I would say maybe a 30-40% chance but I think in the end he doesn't get one and Bazz stays and we don't get Yancy-Harris.

Austin Pope needs to be fed creatine , fat back and bacon grease intravenously. Skinny is an understatement .

Sorry if this has been discussed, but has KYH decommitted or said he plans to open up his recruitment? Or is it just speculation based on the coaching change?

He's been granted a partial release so he is open to any recruitment from any school.

Any update on the other PG we were looking at (I believe his name was Jorgenson)? He had originally committed to Missouri I believe. I'm assuming he is Plan B after KYH?

I think pope is plan D
So with Jorgenson off the board, what are options B and C? I assume Harris is option A? Really feel like we need another guard in this class.

If Bazz stays we forget options B,C,D,E-Z and keep schollie for 2014 but if option A wants to commit we take him regardless.

Amore reported the staff wasn't interested
I have no clue why. The kid is playing good and every college has been in contact with him lately.

Seems like Emmanuel O has had a bunch of coaches come see him, but has not got a lot of high major offers. Was awesome PR for him on the part of the Zags Blog to raise interest in him though...

Yea there definitely seems to be something going on there with Rhodes/Zags. Zags reported that Rhodes told him UConn coaches were going to be on hand for one of his games when that didn't happen and it doesn't appear as if it was going to happen.

This is for 2014 PG Parker Jackson-Cartwright.

My son has played against Parker on the AAU club scene and various camps for the past 5 years or so (although their HS teams haven't played each other). P-funk has been the best 2014 PG in the SoCal area (perhaps entire west coast) for a number of years (although Jordan McLaughlin out of Etiwanda has probably just passed him due to his size and athleticism). Parker is a small PG, but he has long arms for his height. He is one of only a few players that has the ability to control an entire game from the defensive side. He gives the opposing PG fits (just ask my son). He doesn't look fast, but he surprises you with his cat-like quickness. Smart player, that can shoot the ball very well, but seems to prefer to set others up, although at Loyola HS, he has had several high level players to pass to. In AAU/club ball, he has been playing in the 17U bracket for the past 2 years (and he has one more Summer to go). His older brother plays for one of the Ivy league schools (Penn?).

I'm not sure about giving a 1-2 star kid a basketball scholarship. This kid is horribly thin, already in Prep School (after 4 years of High School) and he's still not highly ranked. I did find an article where "he" thought he was similar to Jamal Crawford. I'm not thinking the rest of the college recruiting scene is comparing him to Crawford, even as thin as Crawford is, he's a muscle man compared to this kid. That said, if he walked on, he would probably be great. Much better than Allen.
