talked with one of the guys at 247(nice guys doing a great job building that site) and they just updated our commit list and offers for what they had. noel is now on there as a solid commit!

as of right now our class is ranked 38th in the nation! i know this means nothing but just fun to see us up in the top 50.

That's fantastic news. The sooner these kids can get in there the better. Barone doesn't look like he needs the weight room as much as some others, but if he can get into the playbook and into school sooner rather than later as well that would be great.

Rivals did a check up article on Noel Thomas. He didn't attend the spring game due to a 7v7 tourney but said he went to a couple practices. At the practices he got to see the wr drills and said he wanted to jump in them the he sat in the Wr meetings. Also in the article Thomas said that he is still being recruited by the Beagles, Rutgers and Temple but he is 100% committed to UConn.

they will def rate him soon. i already sent a message to one of the recruit writers but they reacted fast to the last 2 commits. i think more ppl here are hitting that site and they see that and are steping the game up on uconn stuff which is great.

Basically says that he's improving for the season, and he's 100% committed to UConn. Colorado State and Clemson have contacted him and North Texas has offered him.

rivals gives burlingame 3*. thats 6 of 9 on rivals with 3* and myers has still yet to be ranked.

If Burlingame really runs a 4.7 40 as it shows on rivals, how is he not a 4 or 5 star recruit? That is freakish for someone his size.

That 40 yard time is most likely (definitely) inaccurate. Most of the times put out there are meaningless. If the 40 time was accurate, that would have been the fastest time at the NFL combine for DT's (4.82 the fastest, with most of the speedy DT's around 5.0)

This is similar to every WR, CB and tailback recruit having 4.40 speed.
