2013 Baseball Schedule Announcement

"University of Connecticut head baseball coach Jim Penders has announced the team's 2013 schedule, which will open in Dunedin, Fla. against Purdue on February 15 at 4:00 pm. The UConn schedule features 14 games against opponents that played in last season's NCAA Tournament.

"As always, the chief concern is to win in the Big East, as the regular season crown is the first possible championship in every campaign," stated Penders. "With fourteen games scheduled against teams that were in the NCAA tournament in 2012, we have quite a challenge ahead. If we want to be the best, we'll have to beat the best."...

Interesting and very diverse amount of teams we're playing, are we really playing Purdue twice in the Big Ten/BE Challenge or is that a separate game all by itself?

Short comments:
Love the 2 3 game sets against Sam Houston and George Mason
Still wish Penders would stop with Brown, Northeastern, and replace them with a bit higher teams, like Stony Brook or another Ivy League team just for fun.
