I think you could also make the same claim on the "offer list" method as well since I'm pretty sure none in the top 100 were only FCS or low level BCS offers only.

First ...
OFFERS list is highly suspicious. Kids lie. Coaches lie. And the Rating Services that report things do not really have any substance to go by. There are probably a bunch of kids in the top 100 that got one offer ... and said, I am done. I want to go to .

Second ...
In Football ... or even the Real Estate Broker/Developer spot that popped often in that top 100 ... the capacity to rise may not be on film or in measurables. Has everything to do with persistence and luck. Or daddy giving you some Do-re-mi.
