Miami upsets #23 NC State. Miami can be tough at home so this isnt a big surprise.

Miami upsets #23 NC State. Miami can be tough at home so this isnt a big surprise.

NC State shot 27% from the field (17 of 63); the 5 starters were a combined 5 of 42. The Wolfpack still had a chance to win; trailing 49-48 with 6 seconds left, Kayla Ealey was beginning to drive toward the basket and dribbled the ball off her foot.

I thought State was in pretty good shape when they took a 34-27 lead in the 3rd quarter, but they could not hit the ocean last night if they had been standing on a pier. Offensive rebounding kept the Pack in the game; they grabbed 15 offensive rebounds to just 2 for Miami...but State could not take advantage of those opportunities.

Very disappointing loss but no time to wallow in pity; those hated Blue Bellies from Chapel Hill roll into Raleigh on Sunday.

TN squeaked it out 80-75. Freshman Rennia Davis 33 pts (3 of 4 from 3) 14 rebounds (7 offensive) 4 assists looks really really good. Overshadowing the other freshman who look pretty lost. She is really consistent for a freshman. Reminds me alot of another Davis (Kaela Davis)
