How stupid does that AD look by extending Lindsey Whalen after just a year+ until 2024?

Let's recap-Marlene Stollings leaves Minnesota for Texas Tech after the 2018 season which they were 24-9, 11-5 in conference. Lindsey inherits Marlene's soft schedule, wins her first 12, goes 9-9 in conference play and finishes 21-11. Qualifies for WNIT.
Last year, she again goes 11-1 against terrible teams, goes 5-13 in conference, finishes 16-15 before COVID stops the season.
She's 1-4 this year with a sole win over Eastern Illinois 72-68...

Sorry but in year 3 something should be either maintaining what Marlene had (a low bar) or bettering that and Lindsey just ain't cuttin it...But she's got 3.5 seasons to keep coaching...
