is what what AD is averaging since his 24 point game against holy cross if you throwout his two poor games against USF and SHU.

This would be the opposite of how you measure a running back's production? Throw out the bad and take an average instead of throwing out the good and taking an average?

(And if you don't participate in the football board, don't even bother trying to figure out what I'm talking about.)

I mentioned elsewhere, USF and SHU have two of the better frontcourts UConn has faced so far this year.

As much as I am a fan of Drummond, I simply can't accept this premiss. It would make much more sense to me if those bad games were in the beginning of the year/with the mask on.

With that said, if the overall point is that AD is progressing nicely, and could average 17 and 10 by the end of the season, I agree 100%.

thats exactly my point. he is definitely improving and starting to put up some dominant numbers and he`s still not playing at his best yet. i think hes averaging 10pts 9 rbs 2blks in big east play so far and thats inspite of two poor games. i think he`ll still have some poor games occasionally but i think its fair to believe he will consistantly put up 15-10-3 for the rest of the season.

Why would you disregard the USF and SHU games? Where they exhibition games or something where they don't count? Or should we just cherrypick the stats that show what we want to show (ie that Drummond is some super offensive player)? What are his averages if you don't count his two highest scoring games? Those are just as legitimate as the stats you provided.

If you threw out my math and science grades I would have gotten into Harvard.

I want AD to stay another year. Throw out all games where he has more than 10 points or 8 rebounds.

Blot them out from the record books.

Denham Brown averaged over 100 points per game in high school if you remove some of the games too. ;)

Mitt Romney won 100% of the vote tonight if you don't count the people who didn't vote for him.

Let's just agree that Drummond is coming along very nicely. No need to cherrypick stats to support that.

I say we throw out every game but the Holy Cross one. Now he's averaging 24 & 9.
