This should be a good one to watch. Great match ups at guard and in the post to watch.

On one hand, I'm disappointed that I have to wait for the replay on BTN+. At the same time, the fact I know I'll be able to see the replay tomorrow is a good thing.
 
Not gonna lie on this one. I love watching Iowa play. Not to often these teams get those 4 or 5 Star players. When they do get them, it is a program changing player. These teams develop their talent and they are fundamentally sound and well coached. Caitlin Clark is going to be a special player in the Iowa system.
 
Tough choice, but I'm recording this one and watching another game. Looks like a shootout so far, 14-11 Iowa midway thru Q1.
 
Iowa and Clark busting out with 10-0 spurt in 2Q. Take 28-20 lead after IN led 20-18 after 1Q. Clark with 14 points (2-4 from 3). Good dries but IN does not seem to be defending her like some of the other Big 10 schools
 
Indiana has taken a 10 point lead midway thru Q3.
 
Clark is super talented but there's no way you can compare her to Bueckers. The freedom Clark has is unmatched. She's coming down the floor and just chucking from 30 feet out with no hesitation and her teammates still in the backcourt.
 
Iowa on a run, has cut the lead to 3 just before end of Q3.
 
Indiana pulling away again, up 10 w/ 3 minutes left. Iowa just can't beat any of the good Big 10 teams this year.
 
Czinano 7-14 from the field gives Aaliyah Edwards the clear top spot in the country in FG%.
 
Clark w/ 27, but had 19 at the half.

25 for Holmes and 22 for Patberg.

Hoosiers up 11 w/ 28 sec. left.
 
85-72 final. Is Iowa a Tourney team? 10-6 overall, decent win against Iowa St. and maybe Drake. 0-6 in Big 10 against teams w/ a pulse, 6-0 against the dregs.

edit--okay, they did beat Rutgers, maybe a halfway decent conference win there
 
Iowa is definitely an NCAAT team. The eye test says their resume is better than ND, Wake, Clemson, Alabama and LSU to name a few. Plus they have a couple of marquee players in Clark and Czinano.

The announcers doing this Indiana/Iowa game were absolutely correct when they asked why was Paige Bueckers on the Wooden Watch list but Caitlin Clark was not. They posted all of Clark’s numbers which are also mind boggling. To me, Caitlin does deserve to be on that list over Rickea Jackson, Kiana Williams, Olivia Nelson Ododa, Aari McDonald, Davis, Cooke and a few others.
Clark has been and continues to be fabulous on this Iowa team. She needs help especially on the defensive end of the floor. So to say she’s not worthy of being among the top 20 is just silly. She even qualifies among the Top 10 from my perspective!
