Chris Jones says Rutgers is currently on the UConn schedule the next couple of years. Sounds like weekend series, with UConn at home next season.

Talking about SEC opponents being on the schedule in the coming years, as well as teams from other top conferences. Aside from Rutgers, he didn't mention specific teams.

Bottom 6th, Bushling with a 1 out rbi single after a Dana double, 21-11 UConn. Fedko with a 2 out single driving in another run, 22-11.

Bottom 6th, a 2 out Smith triple drives in 2 runs, 24-11. An outfield error on a ball hit by Simmons brings in another run, 25-11. Believe it or not, another UMass pitching change.

The football team high was 28 twice last year…all we need today is a field goal to tie em.

Top 7th, Chudoba faces the minimum with the help of the UConn infield turning a double play. Thinking this could have been the last inning for Chudoba, but we'll see, he is at 71 pitches.
 
Bottom 7th, with bases loaded, an infield error brings in another UConn run. 28-11.

Chris Jones says the record for most runs scored in a game by UConn is 31 against Fairfield.

I wonder if a team that has been down 6 has ever won by 17. Weird day.

Unless Penders takes my advice and starts Austin Peterson tomorrow, I would guess the plan is Cooke, Sullivan and Afthim to get to Willis.

I expect Ian Cooke to get the start against BC. Assuming it is a close game, it wouldn't surprise me if Brendan O'Donnell also figures at some point into UConn's pitching plan for tomorrow night. He has increasingly been involved in a bunch of tight games of late.
