Idaho State is one of two Big Sky teams playing today. Don't forget to watch the NAU Lumberjacks against Stetson.

Idaho State has had an outstanding year and is a very disciplined team with flow on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. While Kentucky poses an immense challenge there is an opportunity here for a bracket buster.

For the unlikely to occur:

1. Howard. . . She will be the focus and ISU must minimize the damage she does. This is possible?

2. Withstand Kentucky second half.

3. Outplay the Wildcats in the first quarter. Kentucky has lost three of their last five games and has a tendency in their losses to come out very slow.

4. Old Mis swept the Wildcats so there may be a blueprint in those two games. To the extent that those losses were self-inflicted ISU has nothing to learn. But perhaps there's a nugget or two there for the Bengals to build on.

I stopped watching but the jinx continued. UK up 30-24 at the half. It was 18-8 ISU at one point.

Idaho St. scored 13 in Q2 and Q3 combined, then exploded for 32 in Q4. Wow. Too little too late, UK wins 71-63.
