7 seed is about right, given our ranking.

Important seed line breaks:

3 seed or above -- can get favorable geographic treatment in the first weekend
4 or 5 seed -- can't get favorable geographic treatment, but can't get screwed either; likely matchup with #1 seed in S16
6 or 7 seed -- may get screwed by geographic placement in the first weekend, but can't face #1 seed until E8 (this helped us big-time in 2014)
8 or 9 seed -- good chance of getting screwed by geographic placement in 2nd round vs. #1 seed

At this point, getting a #3 seed or above may be challenging. There probably isn't a huge difference between a #4-7 seed though.

Win games and they'll be fine. They have a number of top-level games left, so I don't think it is any more of a challenge than any other team out there.

If they don't win any big games, then the highest they can likely get is around a 5-6. But they have a bunch left, and hopefully they snag a good number of scalps.

We have 1 thread about the next year recruits and now another bracketology thread...we really can't just enjoy the season.
