Not a bad article, for a change. Though the bit about the SC game includes this peculiar misstatement: “South Carolina enters this matchup with four straight wins in the series, one that the Huskies dominated in its early days.”

I seem to recall a win engineered by Paige in the recent past. Or was I merely dreaming?

It’s 2 straight wins for SC but 3 of the last 4 I believe (with the 1 UConn win being the Paige takeover above). HOWEVER, technically neither of the last 2 SC wins against UConn have been part of the home-and-home series we have with them. SO TECHNICALLY, UConn has the last win in that series. :D

Playing away will be a disadvantage for Scar when they play Stanford.
Stanford could end up becoming #1.

Home court does count even if only due to travel in a coast to coast travel game. Normally a Stanford crowd isn’t a big factor. Might be different for this matchup of potential 1vs 2 between the last two champs. Attendance figures and TV viewership will be interesting.
