Hokies are my sleeper team for a deep run in the tournament. If that is to come to pass, they must get by Marquette today. Otherwise, my bracket is toast!

As someone who hasn’t seen many ACC games this year, can any ACC fans out there give a ~quick~ breakdown on VTech?

As a big east fan, I have been a fan of Marquette all year, but I really haven’t seen much of VT at all.

Virginia Tech is talented. It took a while for the team to gel but they won 7 of their last 9 games.

Sophomore Elizabeth Kitley is 6'5" and a physical presence in the post. If teams double up on Kitley, the Hokies have three shooters, senior Aisha Sheppard and freshmen Georgia Amoore and Cayla King, who can all nail the THREE at nearly a 40% clip.

I consider the Hokies one of the more dangerous teams in the field. They are susceptible to shooting droughts, tho, so if their long range shots aren't falling, they can be beaten.

Not happy that this game is on as the EXACT same time as Iowa/Central Michigan. Really, they couldn't stagger the start times by half hour?

True basketball fans who follow both MBB and WBB are going to OD today. There's no way to take everything in. But it's a great day for WBB -- for the first time ever, ALL of the games are going to be broadcast in their entirety.

And in everyone of my 12 brackets, I have NC St vs. UConn in the Final Four so we can get that match-up we talked about!

OMG! We FINALLY agree on something, after all these years! I have that matchup in my Final Four, too.

There are potential roadblocks to that happening, tho. UCONN will have to get by Iowa if things play out as I expect (Bueckers vs. Clark would be MUST SEE TV)...and NC State possibly having to get by Indiana, Rutgers or Texas A&M.

Throughout the season of watching Marquette I have become such a big fan of Megan Duffy and this team.

Marquette plays with so much energy. Even when they are down, the energy from the sidelines is amazing. Always going to be rooting for Big East teams to do well.

Marquette offense starting to look a little hesitant. Almost looks like no one wants to shoot. Both teams look somewhat evenly matched at this point.

Marquette's offense seems hung over from their loss to UConn. A team that usually shoots well can't find anything.

How was that a travel if she didn't have possession?

If they're going to double Kitley that is going to be there all day
