It sounded so naive (maybe even ignorant), the kind of thing where someone would snarkily reply, "Kid, this is not your older brother's UConn." Thereafter, he was held up as an example of someone who UConn would never have even looked at in the past.

Fast forward to now, where he is acknowledged as a hard worker, has reshaped his body, added some offense, and fits into the full-rotation line-up. As competition improves, we'll see more, and make determinations, but it's a good time to appreciate what he's making of an opportunity that excited him when most of us here thought (more correctly than not) that the sky was falling.
