1 and dones win championships but 1 and done culture doesn't

Wild to say it doesn't count but okay. It's also a bit strange to say Houston outplayed them for most of the game in a game that Duke led most of the way. I guess you addressed that by saying Houston "shot themselves in the foot" which I guess also must not count.
Houston was choking in the 1st half there was a 19 pt swing of Houston missing open layups, missed dunks and fts, leading to Duke going on a run. Houston closed the gap to end the 1st half with a barrage of 3s which was huge.

Ultimately Duke did choke, there was a question this year of how Duke would handle real game pressure and we saw it. Of course nobody saw it in this fashion.

Yes AND you cannot entirely blame Dook and its coaches/roster makeup for this scenario. IF the ACC had been better Dook woulda had more close games and have been ready for the FF like the other 3 teams were. This isn't necessarily their fault, normally the ACC has at least 2 if not 3-4 quality teams that would have tested them. We expect UConn to be good and tournament ready every year b/c the BE while it has flaws is still a meat grinder (maybe sausage this past year) that creates good teams.

Now the ACC kinda sucks b/c it got too big, but so did other conferences so though we CAN blame Dook for taking BC and Syracuse, we cannot blame the Dookies for every dumb expansion move that was made.
