1-0 indeed. At least we know they can't be any worse than 1-11! No QB controversy in my mind, although when the incumbent leader of the offense comes off the bench to lead the team to victory, you might be right. Pindell did fine, but the offense didn't seem to be able to string together drives much like Shirreffs was able to do. Hopkins looked great. A very nice first game for him. The defense gave up a ton of big plays, much like the big 4th & 8 conversion Holy Cross made leading to a touchdown. At the end of the day, it is just one game. The team responded to the QB change. I think we will see Shirreffs under center in game two.
