lets play a game.
Write things that could happen through the remaining of the 2018 season into the off season based on percentages of if they could actually happen in increments of 10.

0% chance that uconn wins the national championship
10% chance that UConn beats Villanova on Jan 20th
20% chance that Ollie gets fired (before end of the season)
30% chance that Adams comes back for senior year
40% chance that uconn improves enough to make the NIT tournament in March
50% chance that one of our bigs (my guess is Whaley) has a double double before the end of the season.
60% chance that uconn gets past round one of aac tournament.
70% chance of no 2018 de-commits if there’s no head coaching change.
80% chance of Adams making all aac team
90% chance of Vital leading uconn in 3 pointers attempted.
100% chance of more BY meltdowns regarding direction of the program.

Continue this and make your own lists!

WOW, what a great fan you are. Probably took your ball home when you didn't get your way as a kidalso.

0%-chance of winning a National Championship
100%-chance of disappointing the fan base.

I'm guessing I'm going to be spot on with those predictions.

Are you actively cheering for this to happen?

Of course not! I’m stating a percentage, if I was a UConn recruit I would be questioning my choice with current direction of this program.

100% I want the team to be relevant. Not demanding final 4’s or NC’s. I want a team that goes into each game with a chance to win and consistent top 3 AAC team.

The last thing I care about is lottery draft picks.

Is having a team that is well coached with an identity to much to ask for?

As a fan the only real voice we have is whether or not we decide to spend our money towards the team. This doesn’t mean I’ll stop watching. Unlike your comment I believe I’m being a good fan by demanding more for my money than what Ollie is providing. Attendance will drive change. Ask the sports pope, attendance gets coaches fired.

100% chance we don't sign a recruit for next season who chooses to wear #54. Nobody ever has. I don't know why that bothers me so much, but it does.

0% chance the Boneyard hasn’t negatively impacted recruiting
25% chance we make the tournament
75% we improve by 4-5 wins next season, even if Larrier goes, but only if Ollie stays
100% you’ll initially be thrilled if KO leaves, and subsequently be mortified when we hire Kevin Willard, bc he’s the only person on the planet that would want to coach a program that fires NC winning coaches.
110% If Ollie does leave, he becomes an NBA assistant, gets offered an excellent college job in the future, and becomes the 2nd coach to win titles at different schools. We might even have a Randy Edsall situation - that’s how much you sad sacks are going to miss him...
120% Ollie is never, ever giving up, and ultimately succeeds in whatever his chosen role.

10% chance we make the tournament
20% chance we beat Wichita or Cincy on the road

40% chance we make the NIT
50% chance Ollie is back next season
60% chance Vital ends the season over 33% from three
70% chance Jalen is back next year
80% chance something happens this season that makes people momentarily feel good
90% chance we can't be this bad
100% chance somebody will be shot in Hartford sometime soon

I feel like I say this a lot, but this has to be the worst thread I've seen here in a while, which certainly says something considering the state of the team.

Let's save boring, sensationalist posts like this for the off season huh?

Not at all. It's the old, "It's not what you say, it's how you say it" thing. When you express yourself as you have above, you present as an interested and caring person. Often it's hard to see this, thus the question you were asked.

Is it too much to ask that you lead by example in setting a better tone among those who are unhappy with the product on the court, believe that the head coach is responsible, and seek a change in leadership?

You know Hans, this is childish. Your response has nothing to do with my post. It seems like you're trying to be funny at others expense. I'm following the string and you have to make a stupid comment on my profile name. Grow up.

Not my intention to have offended, and certainly not at your expense. Sorry for that, and must still acknowledge that I do misread your name every time. Not sure it's a matter of growing up, but I'll keep it to myself in the future, unless I'm given a great setup, which is how I regarded it this time.

I like many entries in the thread, and have indicated this multiple times.

No problem, your acknowledgment accepted, thank you for that.
