“The Perfect UConn Football Player”

I'd take Darius Butler over Byron Jones in the 40.

Branch was awesome fast. I couldn’t believe he was caught from behind going for a TD by a Wake player in the Muffler Bowl. Maybe the dudes last name was Gay?

Victor Rosa and Jackson Mitchell. Two of the best ever are currently on the team.

Sherman was awesome at Uconn. My favorite plays of game were focusing on him on kickoff coverage. He Would usually run through a few blocks and I think he made 90 percent of the tackles. Great player. Proved it in the NFL.

Walk-on Donald Thomas was a All BE performer at OG. He earned a scholarsip and and was a late round draft pick of the Miami Dolphins. He earned a starting position with the Dolphins in his first few days in camp. His NFL career was hampered by injuries but he played for four teams over eight years. Even at the NFL level he had a repution for his strength and "heavy hands." He embodies work ethic and resilience.
