I hate that frickin saying.

But it proved true today to our disfavor.

cole missing those free throws was an icicle through the heart.

But Cole shouldn't have been on the line. He traveled way before being fouled. That was ( should’ve been) creigtons ball there. Instead a guy who doesn’t miss a free throw all year misses two to ice a game. And then it was creightons ball.

ball don’t lie.

I hate it.

Or...the in bound should have gone to Bouk...at all costs. The BB gods giveth and they taketh away.

Maybe but we only played 3 games before this and only 1 against a decent team so his perfect percentage was pretty meaningless.

Cole was tested for the first time today really and he failed.....hopefully next time he doesn't.

We shouldn't have had to inbound the ball against a press as Creighton was granted a timeout during a live-ball OOB when Martin was already in possession of the ball

In fairness, his free throw percentage was 100%, but he was only 6 for 6 on the season iirc. It’s an interesting year to say the least.

Prior to today, he was 4-0 from the line in the first game. No attempts in games 2 & 3, so the whole "hasn't missed a FT all season" line was a throwaway from the start.

Close....he was 4-4 against CCSU...and 6-6 today....until he missed. He took none in the other two games.

It was an all-around poorly officiated game. I swear two-thirds of the offensive foul calls were bogus, on both teams. College refs hate letting kids play. The charge Cole drew when he got elbowed in the face by his own teammate, lol--one of the worst calls you'll see.
