Part-time librarian here to recount meeting a fellow in Kansas City, yesterday. Somehow came UConn women came up in chat.
He asked : Are they back ?
Me : Oh, yes.
Both of us at same time : As if they ever left.

Some days it really does feel like we are the basketball capitol of the world.

If somebody asked me "If they are back?" I think I would point out the 14 straight Final Fours and ask him, "does that sound like they ever left?".
