On Draft Kings Connecticut I only see Conference Championship Futures. Are there National Championship odds or Final 4 Futures on your DK app? If you or anyone else locates these odds let me know. If you shopped around and your state has DK I assume you checked.
Thanks,
BDH
Indiana State has three (Swope, Avila and Conwell). Kent has one (but got 20 rebounds last game) and Larry has hit for 19 &16. So they are close. Doubt Larry makes it though.
The presenting partner was LEGO for Donny Marshall's Simsbury 5k race (Hartford Marathon Foundation event) to benefit the Boy's and Girls club. Age group prizes consisted of a LEGO kit consisting of an old school black Converse like sneaker and a guy holding a boom box.
The mid-major (Technically considered a MM) I have my eye on (who I think may be the last unbeaten standing/barring injury) is still a step behind the chalk including UConn (of course). Not to far behind though. IMO
Interesting point is that they are still fairly young. They may not have any senior starters this year. It is easy to be bearish as it relates to title aspirations for any mid major without a core of solid seniors. The bracket did open up for them and Memphis arguably got screwed.
Hard to root...
Its all about pace. Distance running (all relative) certainly has taken more of a toll on my knee. Interval training for a 5k can be brutal depending on what you are targeting for a PR.
I had them winning the title @400/1 (I think first week in January the bet was placed) on DK. Put down $100. So the SDSU buzzer beater cost me since by default the pick would have won with a UConn vs FAU title matchup.
I wouldn't make that play now @ 50/1 or 60/1.
Hey Adrian,
A bit off topic but has your wife or any of her running friends ever been diagnosed with this:
https://www.hss.edu/condition-list_iliotibial-band-syndrome.asp
If so what type of rehab was used to resolve the problem? Any other runners have suggestions?
Hey AW,
UConn was 100/1 @ Wynn before the 2013/14 season. Then one bet knocked it down to 80/1. So shopping around helps to get a better return.
Interesting post....
Expected S-Curve was 8. UConn was under seeded by +5=13.
It looks like Utah State was the most under seeded team @ + 12. Arkansas @ + 9 ect ect...
Florida Atlantic should have been a 7 similar to the year Wofford beat Seton Hall in Rd 1.
+=S-Curve difference
It looks like @ UAB and @ Middle Tennessee present the biggest challenges to running the table for FAU in C-USA. I am thinking maybe two league losses? One of the above and an upset to a team in the bottom half? I wonder if that would play out to an at-large bid? Interesting team.
His high character, drive and work ethic...true intangibles may have been underestimated. He transformed his body in a short period of time. This is a tribute to Clingan and the entire staff. He has far exceeded my expectations to this point.
Now this team is a front runner to win it all coming...
Hawkins did put up 23 & 11 against UConn last year. Scored 23 of the 59 points on the road (I think) with 11 boards. Alabama was poor defensively last year (92nd). 18 rebounds is impressive against Bama but Hawkins was the better rebounder during the course of the season. No doubt BS (play 1-3)...
I never said that. They are Big East favorites and a Top 20 KP team at years end. Isn't that 3-8 part of his 8-26 against Power Five? Sheierman is a minus defender coming from a school that played no defense. SDSU was putrid defensively but still had better shooters all around him than he will...
I think they will be pre season top 3 or 4 in the AP poll with the hype. So it could happen early in the year. With BS they are not 50/1 anymore. 28/1-40/1 more the norm. Unless I missed it.
Basically Creighton maintained status quo after adding BS from a personnel perspective plus a healthy...
No thanks on the National Championship with these prices.
Creighton replaces Hawkins/O'Connell (144 3PM) with Scheierman/Farabello (121/3PM). Scheierman shot at a higher clip against bad competition. Farabello played against great competition @ TCU. I think TCU will miss Farabello if they don't...
Now if Kansas, Duke or Kentucky lands Baylor Scheierman within the next two weeks they will most definitely have buyers remorse with Mosley in the portal.
lol
The Supreme Court decision in NCAA vs. Alston paved the way for the chaos. Gorsuch and Kavanaugh cleared the way for all these changes. Anti-trust laws were brought into college athletics. Anything the NCAA tries to do from a regulatory perspective will most likely fail in the highest court...
The ironic thing about Davis & Pack though turns out to be they didn't land @ Duke, Kansas, UNC, Houston, Kentucky or Arkansas ect ect...where their professional abilities could have created a heavy fav to win the "NCAA Championship". Instead they landed with collectives on teams that most...
https://www.on3.com/db/max-abmas-150058/nil/
Am I missing something here. Why is Max still at Oral Roberts? Is this the next portal news to drop? SDSU is an overwhelming fav in the Summit next year.
This is a potential portal dweller that could REALLY put a team over the top. I would buy this...
It would be hilarious if Wyoming behind Jeff Linder won the National Championship with Hunter Maldonado and Graham Ike selling discount $5 dollar tee shirts! :) Which they are.
College basketball deserves it.
