Well worth $12.50 plus tax for access to two games. Probably won’t use it anymore after these two games. Visual stream was a little ragged and announcers were poor but I got to see the game.
We can’t predict what will happen tomorrow let alone 3 years in the future. Too many unpredictable events between now and then. Let’s just enjoy every game she plays until she leaves.
Sorry to see Anna leave but completely understand. As many have noted playing time next year is going to be hard to come by. I’m sure Anna will find a good fit for her talents. Thanks Anna, and best wishes.
Congratulations to Ms. Fudd for a wise choice. Also, congratulations to a job well done by Geno and his staff. Looking forward to seeing Ms. Fudd play.
I also went through a prolonged "cold" for 2 to 3 weeks in December even though I always get the seasonal flu shot. No fever, but nagging cough, runny nose, etc. Was able to clear it in time to leave for FL where we are now self isolating. As noted by others the beer and wine are in plentiful...
Wow! Very disappointed in her decision. I hope the women's game doesn't start turning into "one and done" turnstile of the men's game. Next year just got a little more challenging.
I agree that her habit of driving forcefully into the lane and then turning away from the basket and looking to pass the ball drives me crazy. She has to come up with a way take a shot when she gets that close to the basket.
I remember watching Swin play in the WBCA All-America game at the Hartford Civic Center prior to her UConn Freshman year. Tamika Williams also played and was the number one ranked player coming out of high school that year. Of course they were both very young and I remember Swin dribbling the...
It looks like lots of the BY faithful have thrown in the towel for this year. Me, I think the fun is just beginning. The team will make the NCAA tournament and then will only have to win 6 games. Don't know how far they're go but lets enjoy this team while we can and not think about next year.
Ah, yes.....how soon we forget. Lots of losses those years but it was still loads of fun to watch the UConn women play. As Geno has often said, the program is a victim of it's own success.
Freshman Hayes dropped 6 3pointers on Louisville that night if I remember correctly. Louisville had to leave someone open because they concentrated on Maya Moore. Tiff was left open and just kept dropping 3's.
Kelly became one of my favorites after the smackdown UConn put on Tennessee in the 2000 NC game. Her 9 blocks set a title game record and she was named MVP. As I remember it, every block was mean and nasty. UT couldn't go near the inside.
Looks like she's had a rewarding successful athletic...
