Wrong again...as you usually are. Just because I haven't been on this board as long as you doesn't mean I started liking soccer yesterday. Not to mention I actually go to games around here in Connecticut. Can you say the same? Probably not. You're just another out of state moron who thinks he...
Oh yeah? Then why is "USL" mentioned 20+ times in the article and has a large photo of a USL soccer ball at the top of the page? I understand you're mentally slow, but you might want to actually read the article before running your stupid mouth. Even though you fall flat on your face every time...
You begin by saying you support all teams and then end it by saying you don't support the WP. I hate to say it but you just contradicted yourself. Then again I'm not surprised coming from a someone like you.
More like I don't support the teams you like....which would be HCFC and the Whalers...
Judging from your opinions on the AHL and WP, I'd say you care enough. haha
Uh huh sure. Keep telling yourself that.
You wouldn't know the truth if it smacked you in the face. It's pretty obvious you got a superjohn at the thought of some team being named in honor of the Whalers.
@TheDoggPound ...if you actually followed HCFC, then you would know they partnered up with that hockey team you love to hate to put on the "1st Annual Hartford City FC/Wolfpack Soccer Clinic." Too bad your unaffiliated team doesn't share the same anti-Wolf Pack sentiment as you do. :p
Hartford...
I was actually referring to the Wolf Pack/AHL. They've been in that building every year since 1997 and UConn didn't show up to the party until 2014. Everyone is going to have their opinions regarding the Wolf pack and UConn but the Pack are Hartford hockey and have been for 21 years.
Detroit this and Detroit that....lol. That team is probably the ONLY good thing the NPSL has going for it. I remember when HCFC aspired to be just like Detroit.....but that was before they lost Dillon. haha
Not angry, just frustrated. I'm a Hartford hockey fan and I know of other Hartford hockey "fans" who refuse to support what we have now just because it's not the NHL. Their loss.
Whalers fans will post or say just about anything to justify their "Hartford is an NHL city" argument. You can't have an NHL team if you don't have a building that is up to league standards and last time I checked, the XL Center was nowhere close to being that. Not to mention Hartford is NOT...
I personally don't have anything against HCFC itself. I do have an issue with their moronic "fans" who love bashing the USL left and right. Is it the USL's fault HCFC won't be playing at Dillon? Nope. Grow the **** up and move on.
That's funny...I remember not too long ago you being all excited over the thought of the USL team being named "Whale City FC." Who are you trying to fool? You're no soccer fan. You only support teams who honor your dead hockey team.
Makes no sense to support a "Hartford" team that doesn't play...
Jump from the safety and security of the USL to the unstable mess known as NASL? The answer to that should be self explanatory.
Teams like Indy Eleven and North Carolina FC leaving NASL is also self explanatory.
Yet one league is playing this year and the other isn't. Obviously NASL didn't have what it takes to be a D2 league. They were granted provisional D2 status for 2017 allowing them time to get their s*** together...which never happened.
Figures of you would trying deflecting the question.
Maybe the USL met all the requirements set forth by the USSF for D2 sanctioning? It's not rocket science.
Your hatred for a successful D2 league is rather cute. So we've already established you hate the USL, minor league soccer, and everything else under the sun. What are you doing here then? No wait, let me guess...slow day in KC?
HCFC fans?
If you're talking about NPSL's most successful teams vs. USL's least successful teams, then you would be right. Then again, we're comparing a D4 semi pro league with 90+ teams to a D2 pro league with 30+ teams. As you said, it's "not even debatable." ;)
OK then, let's take a look at the NPSL numbers for 2017. Oh darn! Most teams were averaging in the hundreds while the rest didn't bother keeping track of their attendance. Again, nice try. LOL

Every league, regardless of sport and level of play, has teams that draw flies. For some reason you love to focus on the handful of the USL teams that are lacking fans. How about the teams that do have fans, hmm?
USL Hartford will do just fine without those clowns. If they want to hold a grudge against the new team just because they're playing at Dillon and HCFC isn't, then it's their loss.
You wish. HCFC plays at a stadium that can only hold a few hundred people at a time while the renovated Dillon will hold a few thousand. You do the math.
