    Amari in Transfer Portal

No doubt Amari made life-long friendships with the team and I appreciate her time with UCONN. She appears to have a bright future ahead of her and I’ll never forget the highlight of her assist while sitting on the court :D We’ll miss you Amari!!!

WOW. These three never cease to amaze me. They displayed such maturity and grace despite the heartbreak. This program produces more than just winners on the court--they're winners in life.

    UConn - Iowa Postgame Thread

Yeah not the ending we wanted but so proud of the entire team this year! They overcame so many obstacles and need to keep their heads held high! Big thanks for Liya and Nika for giving it their all!! I’m very excited about the group returning next year! Great experience for the freshies!

Sarah Strong announcing tomorrow 4/6 at 11:00 am on ESPN

Agreed! Moreover, these kids have worked so hard to get to achieve this level of success. If you’re the number ONE player coming out of high school it’s nice to be recognized and get a little limelight on TV. And as someone else noted, it may help with NIL next year. Let’s build these these...

Tennessee parts ways with Kellie (Jolly) Harper [merged thread]

Personally, I am going to miss Coach Harper on the TN sidelines. I get that SEC expectations are high, but I feel she is such a class act and did things the right way. I know recruiting may have been somewhat of an Achilles heel, but it’s hard to compete in the world of NIL and flashier venues...

    Ashlynn article

Kelly is one of my all time favorites! I will always remember late in the second half of the UConn/ND semifinal (2013) where she got two consecutive offensive rebounds which set up FTs by Stef. That was pure heart AND athletic ability. Not to mention, very deflating for ND. Immediately...

    December UConn recruiting thread

This is turned out to be quite the game!!! both teams were impressive! Morgan with the free throws to give AM the go ahead lead with 16 sec to go. Good defensive plays by both teams at the end but AM hangs on to win the championship! I can’t wait to see her next year!

    Azzi :(

First and foremost, prayers and hugs for Azzi and her family. I don’t even care about accolades, national championships, etc…I care about these individuals. So my heart breaks for her because I know how much she loves this sport. That being said, with today’s advanced medicine and PT there is...

    Jana injured

Totally heartbreaking for Jana!!! Virtual hugs to her and her family! And prayers for a successful surgery and rehab! Let’s not forget she is part of the UCONN family and her health and well-being is more important than any W. Keep your head up Jana! We’ll see you back on the court before you...

    Congrats Iowa

Such a tough loss, but what a wonderful 4 years for that SC senior class. They should be so proud of all they accomplished! And congrats to Iowa on a great game and amazing performance by Caitlin Clark! Looking forward to a good game on Sunday. What a crazy and exciting year in WCBB! "In a...

    tOSU postgame Thread

Tough loss but congrats to tOSU! Grateful for all that Dorka and Lou contributed during their time at UCONN. It’s been a year full of injuries and loss (Geno’s Mom) so I hope everyone takes some time to reflect just how much they were able to overcome. Get rest. Get healthy. And come back fresh...

Which UConn player is the fastest?

A lot of speed on the team, but Paige is deceptively quick. It may take her a year of playing to get it all back, but it'll be a beautiful thing once she's 100%! :D

OT: The Grass Isn't Always Greener for Transfers

If my memory is correct, both Azzi and Paige said Ashley was the hardest player they faced in HS. I hope she has a successful career in the pros!!! “In a world where you can by anything…be KIND”

Any Pickleball Players on this Forum?

I played some tennis in high school (~20 years ago) and recently started pickleball. It's very addicting and I find it to be much more enjoyable! IMO, doubles > singles and you meet a ton of wonderful people in all age ranges. Honestly, the game reminds me more of table tennis which is why I...

OT: Your best love songs to share with us

Eric’s song is true poetry and I hope you give it a listen. When writing it, Vienna challenged herself to write a love song without using the word “love” in any of the lyrics. She’s also a Stanford alum ;) @TheFarmFan “In a world where you can be anything… be KIND”

    MoJeff released by Dallas

I still think there is a great chance MoJett can thrive on another team. She was the only reason I ever rooted for Dallas and hopefully she’ll find herself on the right team. Aside from that, she’s one awesome human being and will make an impact wherever she lands up (on or off the court)

    Is Boston for SC stoppable?

I watched the small segment (on ESPN) of Aaliyah going back home to visit her family. You just can’t help but want to root for her!
