Always appreciate how he takes credit for the losses but gives the players credit for the wins. Always refreshing when coaches don’t throw their players under the bus
I genuinely don’t think he asked if all students have scanned tickets. Years passed they would just send them in with an ID as recent as the Houston game. So 7k scanned tickets with a couple thousand students let in makes sense. But not being in attendance and trying to call readers stupid is...
This thread is becoming a joke. We are gonna hammer the guy for last season when 90% of other coaches would have been polishing their resume and looking for their next job. He wants to be here, he understands the program and has experience with the current HC. He is a coordinator, he works...
In the time they had to work, they built a good foundation. As they continue to fill a good mix of age and experience there is a lot to be excited about. Honestly I’m drinking the coolaide but that’s what fans do. It does seem like this staff has a plan which they made public and are working...
It’s hard to find coaches players want to play with. Mora is the head coach and will have ultimate say. Just give the guy a shot. If he succeeds then great. If the defense is awful they move on. This isn’t a bad hire by any stretch as it offers stability and continuity to a program which lets...
Going off of this. Young coach with ties to region. Tons of experience around solid programs. Improved their defense first year in. That’s my thinning plus HCJM is defensive minded so having a younger coach is beneficial.
I see a lot of posts about UConn being an impossible job. We probably hired the 3 worst candidates we could have found. PP was over the hill for 7 years. BD didn’t even practice offense (true story from a buddy of mine who played under him) and RE 2.0 didn’t even try to put a competitive...
I don’t think there is any real validity there. But this is a sign of how broken college athletics really is. They don’t have the players well being in mind anymore. Coaches will lie and cheat their way to success
I’m really respecting the effort of the staff right now. Really doing a lot with a little and I think it will pay off. Hard to be a competitive team without competitive recruits. I think this is going to change. Go Huskies!
From what I’ve been able to find max preps has Xavier as a WR/QB. I think he might be listed as QB on recruiting sites but had his position changed. Tyler was the starter
Having expirenced LB play will definitely be a step up. It’s funny how BD was supposed to be defensive minded but didn’t recruit many strong defensive players. Go Huskies!
I think realistically 4 is the ceiling of this team with a competent QB. This would involve winning the 3 most reasonable games and maybe catching a team sleeping like we did at temple 2 years back. That being said if games are competitive and there is improvements made both sides of the ball...
