Kinda surprised. We all know you love analytics. Thought you would have supported St. John’s getting in.
Personally, I think Seton Hall deserved it the most. Hard to fathom finishing 4th in conference with the in conference wins they had not being enough.
I find that the most impressive thing is how our players make it positionless. It’s one thing to know your role in a set as the 2 guard or center. But imagine having to know all those sets, but for multiple positions.
Guards alone there are times Steph, Newt, Cam, and Hass are interchangeable...
Went early and left at 1:30. By the time we left yes it was packed. But early morning was great and it was nice to see the kiddo on skis for the first time.
Probably because our offensive sets use the center very differently than Calhoun.
Singare will get some minutes depending on match ups. I’d rather have our best players play the most minutes otherwise.
Depends on match ups.
Against big front courts will need Singare. But as someone mentioned in another thread, I love the idea of Newton, Spencer, Ball/Diarra, Castle, AK for 2-3 minute stretches when Johnson needs a break.
Didn’t realize this subforum existed.
Here’s the deal.
If you had a weight bearing xray (meaning you were standing while they took it) it will show how much arthritis you have. If it’s grade 2 ( out of 4) or less then an arthroscopic meniscetomy is absolutely worth having.
If it’s grade 4...
These things aren’t black and white.
Another way to put it is that waiting an extra 2 weeks would not have substantially lowered his risk for re-injury.
Swelling does not prevent you from getting an MRI.
MRI is a powerful tool. Sometimes you may not want to open Pandora’s box if it’s a straight forward ankle sprain.
Quick tangent—the amount of times I’m strong armed into ordering an MRI on my patients because they want one is nauseating...
Biggest worry. Best case scenario is possibly a bad ankle sprain. Just the fact that he couldn’t get back in the game and was limping fairly bad, I’d be surprised to see him back for at least 4 weeks.
