I believe Q had a better freshman year than Aubrey. They both started with the 'deer in the headlights' look and with their heads on a swivel to see if they were in the right place. By the time they figured that out the play was over and they got a late start down court. Q got it by the end...
Geez, Now I'm wondering, "How many of the 68 teams chosen, plus the teams left out have a forum topic, "We Got Screwed!"?" My guess is 60 about 40 in the tournament and another 20 left out. What do you think?
At the end of the day there will be a lot of bleed over information. any news on one site is quickly disseminated onto the other site. If you are here for the information and not the opinions it will make no difference to which site you are more devoted.
I liked that too, but you've got to give Cam an assist. Has started to throw the ball to Cam but Cam gave him the plams up stop sign. Has immediately knew the play and tried to restart the 5 second count. Great teams think alike!
The correct answer is, "It's the Big East". In the BE an elbow to the head is common. If it were the ACC it would be Flagrant 2 and in the PAC-12 it would be incarceration.
Paige has the potential for two years of eligibility. Aaliyah, Nika, and Aubrey also still have their Covid years. How about getting the band back together? Through in a little Jana, Morgan and Allie it just might be a fun year
Get the clubs. If your driver is a fade a new driver may help. If it is a bonafide slice get 3 lessons just on the driver. But I suggest you go to a place like Golf Galaxy where you can try the full spectrum of clubs. Specifically the 2 or 3 hybrids that will help in those longer fairway...
I'm 6'4" with normal arms. I play Ping Green. 2 degree upright lie and 1.5 inches long. Taller players tend to have a more vertical swing plane. Hence the lie adjustment.
When Lee Trevino just returned to the tour after being struck by lightening; a reporter asked, "Lee what are you going to do if it starts lightening while your on the course?"
Lee replied, "Hold up a 1-iron. Not even God can hit a 1-iron."
Lots of answers here. Question 1 has to be why do you want to upgrade. If the answer is performance improvement; then is it accuracy, distance, or both. Next, how consistent are your shots?
does your ball move in the same direction with all your clubs. It's ok if your driver moves left and...
I believe the reporter did right in doing their job. The reporter is to inform and entertain the fans. The existence of this thread confirms that the question was appropriate. Also appropriate was Aaliyah's response It's as if she has had a course in media management taught by Derek Jeter.
Atypical Yarder didn't read the opening apology that indicates my understanding the inappropriate nature of responding before indulging and then deems to correct me for what I obviously already know. Some drivel from Mr. Positive.
I believe Donovan has a lot of room to grow offensively. Defensively He's been good.
He is massive and very mobile for his size. Offensively IMO:
He doesn't catch the ball well
Handles a soft lob OK
but not a hard pass in traffic.
Balls down low or on the floor (which are difficult for a...
I apologize to all of you posters before me, I have not read one post. Not even the original post.
The verbiage of the title is enough for me to form a hopefully cogent comment. (And I hope is a redundant comment.)
The idea of being what Duke was is totally reprehensible to me.
Why would...
As a 76 year old former newspaper reporter, I remember when the advertisers covered my salary. A paywall to me is a dishonorable exercise in excessive greed. As a former applications developer who understands the 2 out of 3 rule (Good or Fast or Cheap; pick any two) if they have a problem with...
Seeing as how I get all fumble fingered when typing Qadence. Q would be good but plain. I will start calling her LadyQ in reference to her classy demeanor and the fact that I can't type Cadence. I suggest no space between lady and Q just to be different.
Ashlynn came to UConn with a reputation for a strong mid-range game. She is not a real 3-pt threat. Currently she is 1 for 6. Her game in high school was a slash to the key and a stop/pop jumper. I expect she will spend the summer developing more range. Right now the freshman that can help...
Let me introduce you to Tristen Newton. In a bad shooting game he still had 8 assists. It's early but, DC's 12 points 6 rebounds and 2 blocks a game looks pedestrian for the behemoth we are expecting. Donovan 'should' be the engine that drives the train, but it is the engineer who makes it go.
Marquette's win will help them more than the loss will hurt them. All the voters who had voted Kansas #1 will try to cover their choice by inflating Marquette's victory. Purdue, AZ, Marq., Kansas, UConn. we don't get any lovin'.
It would be foolish to play two back to the basket posts together. Clingan and Sanogo are both traditional back to the basket players. They will not coexist. Samson is not a back to the basket player. The logic used last year doesn't apply to this year. Clingan/Sanogo and Clingan/Samson...
I guess I am old enough not to care what others think. Also Sanogo and Clingan are both classic back to the basket posts. There is little upside to playing them together. Samson is very mobile and is supposed to have a decent midrange jumper.. that is why I think Samson and Clingan will work.
IMHO, I would like to see what 20 minutes a game of Donovan and Samson together would look like. That would mean each playing about 30 minutes a game, but oh what havoc could be rained down on some folks. Teams would have zero shots at the rim. Alex would have to spend more time guarding the...
If ever anyone looks for evidence of inane/obsessive posts on the BY, this post is exhibit one. The only reason this post is alive is because of the insecurities over the front court that some posters exhibit and they are clutching at the straw of a miracle healing for the 6'4" Jana. Here are...
