I think most football players will be more likely to go searching for the biggest bag they can get. In football, its basically the NFL or bust so they need to get as much money as they can in college because the majority aren't going to make it. And they have to be in college for at least 3...
I'm excited for the game, but also tempering expectations after seeing what Madden has turned into the last to years. Hopefully, they will make it right.
I got into an argument with another teacher in the lounge today because he said we were overrated and were gonna lose to SJ on Saturday. When he said "overrated" I lost it and obliterated him then he left the room. Everybody else was laughing.
When I was a sophomore in high school I had an english teacher who tried to tell me he was stupid (he thought this of all athletes. He was jealous he had to go to eastern.). I proceded to print off about 20 pages of articles discussing Emeka's academics, business school etc and threw it on his...
Agree with being one hire away. Honestly, in today's age of the transfer portal and NIL etc., I feel like any school could become competitive/relevant with the right coaching staff
As some others have said earlier in this thread, I feel like DePaul has potential and I think they recently upgrades facilities(I might be confusing them with somebody else)? Regardless, they are in a what should be fertile recruiting but can't seem to get out of their own way. I'd like to...
While Clingan is out, I think Singare's minutes will be matchup dependent. We needed to use his body for afew minutes again Soriano, but there was no real need for him last night with DePaul's lineup.
I agree with this. In theory, this might make kids put a little more thought into where they go in the first place. However, players would still be able to say "I intend to enter the portal" just have to wait a bit longer to do so.
I don't watch much NBA, but was starting to follow it more due to Hawkins and Jackson. From my observations, and I could be wrong, it seems that the NBA works almost opposite the NFL. Most 1-2nd round picks in the NFL get their opportunity to succeed (until they don't) but seems like outside of...
It would be like high school sports in CT. You are in a conference of schools comprised of teams who all don't compete in the same state tournament but still vie for same conference title. Not sure if this model would work in college
I am not a doctor, but I have had mutiple ACL/meniscus surgeries. The mensicus on its own, is not big deal. Its quick an easy to shave a little off - the problem people have is they have their meniscus "trimmed" multiple times and that is usually the cause for further knee troubles down the...
It was in question later than that lol as someone who had -39 I resigned myself to the fact that it wasn't going to hit when we were up 31 with like 1:18 to play, but then yeah, jayden ross and jaylin stewart happened lol
I never thought about that before but I think that's a good point. App. St, JMU, and I know I'm missing several other have all jumped from FCS ranks in recent years. Makes it easier for kids to stay closer to home and play at around the same level i guess
Nebraska defense has been very good - CU took advantage of short fields and god awful qb play from Nebraska. I have a feeling CU rolls in the second half.
