Obviously wanting the first one will always trump the rest. 2004 was also huge getting a second. 2006 really hurt - the best team with the most talent and got beat way too soon for various reasons. I won't go through the rest.

Correct - the times are established long before anyone knows the seeds and I believe they are setup to give the #1 seed the best amount of rest between games.
My 4 year old grandson just came running down the stairs chanting "UCann Huskies". I haven't said anything to him for hours - just happy to be chanting it. We'll work on the O instead of the A but a great start.
Something really has to be done about officiating - with 4 minutes to go Georgetown/Butler has 41 fouls called. In the Marquette/Creighton game there were a total of 19.
There's no way there is that much difference between the two games.
Not sure what the solution is, but something has to change.
