I'm mildly interested in the success of the women's program. I'm obsessed with the men's program. The more success on both sides, the better. Legendary coaches on both sides. It's great to be an Alum and fan along for the ride.
I graduated 36 years ago. The football team has had 6 winning seasons out of the past 25 seasons. Is that not dreadful? In the last 6 seasons there have been 3 or less wins in 5 of the 6. Abysmal, dreadful, horrible...pick whatever word you like to describe it...it is what it is.
Please, as a UConn Alum it's still not hard to admit that UConn has been dreadful in football for a long time. Just plain horrible, for many years. There hasn't been a single season with a winning record since 2010, and only 6 winning seasons out of the last 25. That's objectively awful.

I think what Hurley has built/ is building may be more sustainable. JC took the 8/9 game team on a trajectory that few of us would have dreamed of.
Co-Goats is fine with me.
It seems that Coach Hurley has created a blueprint for sustained excellence by creating a culture where EVERYTHING is done a a very high level. From the quality of the coaching staff to use of the portal (and everything in between) there are no substantive weaknesses that I can see. He gets...
