    Mulkey story coming?

I went searching for this article once she brought it up. What was so bizarre to me was how strongly she felt about an article wasn’t really attacking Kelly at all. Once I finished reading it yesterday, I was left thinking why would she be so bothered by the article’s content? I’m interested...

    Mulkey story coming?

It seems she was reading that response off those papers. Makes me wonder if the legal representation she claims to have prepared that for her. Seems like she’s trying to get ahead of whatever it is that’s supposed to be getting exposed. I do think it’s interesting she chose to be more vocal in...

    Week 4 interesting games

I’m not really sure what to make of a majority of these teams this season. Feels like quite a few have taken a few steps back. Still extremely early though.

Who would want to play for Kim Mulkey ? ESPN

After catching up, my main question is who has Kim Mulkey developed? To be frank, I also think calling her “real” when she’s misspoken on several issues like sexual assault and COVID is strange. Wins are great and often allow folks to have longer of a proverbial leash. However, it’s naive to...

Colorado up on LSU double digits

Just game 1 for sure, but I think this team’s maturity is going to be something that needs to be worked on as the season goes along. Adjustments will be made but I just question what happens once they are in conference against teams just as athletic and big as Colorado. As a Card fan, I am fully...

Colorado up on LSU double digits

It’s almost as if Reese can’t defend 5s, Hailey Van Lith isn’t a PG, and Morrow can’t play in the post consistently against taller posts. I’m not sure why LSU didn’t try to get an experienced banger in the post. Williams and Morris will be missed, especially to start the season.

Ole Miss takes down Stanford (merged)

I do think Ash could have been valuable in several of the losses we suffered. I think her size alongside Cam would have given OM some issues as well if she played a little more. I think her experience would have been better to have on the floor over Betts during losses.

    SC vs LSU

Cardoso has been better offensively, but she still is somewhat of a liability on defense. I think Brink would still be able to out-maneuver her like she did in the first game. We just saw Aaliyah Edwards do this to her in UConn's game with South Carolina. Even against LSU, their freshman was...

    Pac 12 Conference Outlook

Love what Agnes has been able to provide when she plays. Will for sure need her and Betts once postseason tournaments roll around.

    SC vs LSU

Lol the same FT difference that aided LSU in victories against Georgia and Tennessee? Most of LSU's offense comes from the paint and offensive rebounds, that is not a realistic approach against South Carolina.

    LSU basketball, 2023

I don’t think anyone thinks you all are like that! You are very reasonable and fair with your posts and thoughts. I think LSU would be a lot more likable as a team if it weren’t for the attitudes. It’s one thing to play with passion, but I think it’s a fine balance between that and trying to...

    LSU basketball, 2023

A 45-24 free throw difference is incredibly absurd. A huge margin happened just a few nights ago at home against Tennessee too. I’m leaning towards that not being a coincidence. Luckily South Carolina doesn’t have to travel there for the game.

    Is Tennessee v LSU Threadworthy

Ahhh okay, I see. I think the voters have just been going by record. Until recently, there were 3 undefeated teams so I understood OSU being ahead of UConn even though I didn't think they were necessarily better. Looking at the current rankings, the only team above with the same amount of losses...

    LSU Tenn thoughts

I do not think LSU is a top 5 team. Watching the game, Reese struggled finishing over the size, speed, and strength of Tennessee. The foul situation was interesting all night, I understand having "home-court" advantage but from what I saw there is no way LSU only fouled 14 times all night. A...

    Is Tennessee v LSU Threadworthy

UConn has multiple ranked wins against ranked opponents and their roster has not even been complete all year. I'm not really understanding the comparison.

    In defense of Dorka

I would imagine she is still somewhat in her head about the injuries she's had to her wrist and fingers. She made some mistakes, but she also had some important defensive plays. The one where she came over and stole the ball from Jackson immediately sticks out to me. On the other end, she made...

    LSU basketball, 2023

I think LSU should handle Tennessee. The only problem I could potentially see is defending Jackson. Just don't think the Tennessee posts will be able to contain Reese. However, Jasmine Franklin could be someone to keep an eye on. Undersized, but very physical. I think LSU should still win though.

    LSU basketball, 2023

I would be pretty surprised if LSU or Tennessee kept it close with South Carolina this year. From the games I have seen, LSU has dominated the offensive glass and that probably is not happening against SC. South Carolina has the post game to neutralize Reese, and I think Brea Beal will have a...

    LSU basketball, 2023

I do not really see the antics flying with South Carolina or Tennessee. Eventually, they will meet their match and get what they are asking for. Every program/player will not ignore it like Arkansas was able to last night. Outside of all the extra, it was a very entertaining game.

    2023 WNBA Free Agency

ONO should absolutely be on the final roster. She played well for LA once Liz left and many Sparks fans I know were bummed to be losing her because of her toughness on the boards and size. Connecticut was likely not going to win anything with the players in place and Thomas is 33 coming off an...

    2023 WNBA Free Agency

For Phoenix to be competitive, I think Taurasi has to take a drastic paycut so they can upgrade their bench. I would imagine Cunningham is a guarantee to come back and I think Gustafson should be brought back as well. Peddy is rehabbing and Diggins-Smith is having a baby, so I wonder how they...

    2022-23 Transfer portal announcements

Verhulst's top 9 in 2019 was UConn, Notre Dame, Oregon, Oregon State, Stanford, Tennessee, Louisville, Missouri, and Arizona State. If she were to revist some of the suitors of this list, Missouri probably makes the most sense. I think it is pretty close to home for her and she likely is also a...

BTW: A LadyVol scouting opportunity tonight

Ahhh yes, another SEC team getting embarrassed by Ohio State. Can’t say I’m surprised. Sheldon was just dominant defensively and Mikesell really turned it on. Overall, really fun showing from OSU.

    Fall non-UConn recruiting thread

Can't relate to this much as a Stanford fan, but I have heard of other schools using this as a selling point for schools that consistently win. Football at some schools is relevant to recruits of other sports because that is how most of them spend their weekends waiting for the season to start...

    LSU basketball 2022, Part II

All of this. One of Klutch Sports' most notable female agents was on Twitter insinuating how she now will have to seriously consider if she wants to work with players that decide to play for LSU. Gusters actually commented on this very post. As the coach, you are responsible for keeping your...

    LSU basketball 2022, Part II

I'm not sure I fully agree with this. I guess any press is good press, but for people that Kim has coached and other high profile players to be speaking out against her just isn't good. Reporters are also letting off takes, and then you create questions regarding the type of program you are...

    LSU basketball 2022, Part II

I agree. Almost anything else would have worked, it just makes me sad how their relationship does not seem like it will ever be repaired. Sucks for the student-athletes, because now the only takeaway from today is her comments.

    LSU basketball 2022, Part II

I see Mulkey is getting hammered on social media for a snarky response regarding Griner. I know those two may not have the best relationship, but I would imagine maintaining good press for your program should be the priority.

Can South Carolina be the next UCONN in Women's college basketball? Dawn Staley weighs in

Simply put, there will probably never be another UConn in WBB.

    2022 NCAA Softball Tournament

WOW Stanford. Can’t help but feel sorry for Fouts. Really got ran into the ground with all the games she had to throw. I’m hoping she comes back next year and finally gets her moment.

    New school commitments by Transfers

Hmm interesting. I do not think this really will impact the overall structure of the SEC as I think both SC and Tennessee should still be firmly ahead of them from a talent and depth perspective next year. I also do not see them as a national contender just yet either. However, this should get...

I am sure Evina will get picked up by another team. She performed well in preseason and seemed to have a lot of positive things about her said by the organization.

    New school commitments by Transfers

Could’ve been. If all along your recruiting process they are saying this is how we plan to use you and then they bring someone else in your position barely a week later, why would you stay when you can go and be valued more elsewhere? It sucks but she is doing what’s best for her, and I don’t...

    New school commitments by Transfers

I mean maybe the coaching staff there promised her something and went back on it. Good for her to explore her options. Arizona is probably better suited to win more than LSU next year anyway, especially with Reese back and Fields potentially coming with her.

    New school commitments by Transfers

Regarding Reese, I’d be surprised if that’s true. If she wants to expand her game while winning, the only program in the SEC that makes sense is South Carolina. Maybe she just wants a change of scenery, but going from Maryland to LSU is a pretty lateral or arguably worse move on paper. I guess...
