Nice article on the kid. Sounds like Ollie was a big reason he's coming to UConn. Let's see what happens if/when Ollie is let go at the end of the year.
Ollie has a poor history of developing players so without top ranked recruits coming in next year it's not a good sign for things to come. Having top 50 recruits at least gives you the opportunity to turn the program around. There are always going to be exceptions and rankings aren't always...
I agree that Kay is trying to play a part where Mike has always been the same guy. I can't listen to Kay... He is just a phony. Like Coach Cal said yesterday , Mike was never trying to take someone down, he was just being honest and himself...like it or not.
As much of a blowhard Mike is, I'm going to miss the guy. I've been listening to him since day 1 and he's been the voice of NY Sports for 30 years. How the heck can FAN put Bart Scott in the afternoon lineup. Are you kidding me. The guy was a nasty SOB to the media and fans when he played in...

Akinjo-106
Kisunas-143
Matthews-227
Let's have a party and sign Ollie up for another 5 years. There is no reason why he can't continue to finish in the top 7 of the AAC and have a winning percentage of .600. We are right where we need to be.
Couldn't agree more with Greenberg. We can't wait forever for the ACC or Big Ten to come calling. If we can get into the Big East for hoops, grab it and run. Accepting the status quo and accepting the AAC as a good conference is accepting mediocrity and that's basically where we are at right now.
Now that's a half full outlook. None of these guys are 5 star players as others have alluded to. Adams will most likely be gone and we can't even rely on AG. As much as we all trash Adams, good luck replacing a guy that could put up 20 every night. Next year does not look any better IMHO.
He is not ready for prime time. Looks confused, frustrated and lacks confidence. Warts are showing as the early season continues and he needs to shut his trap when he screws up. Doesn't help that Adams/Larrier are always passing blame as well. He has a long way to go.
What I saw last night was a UConn team that was not talented and was never going to win that game. After 5 minutes in the 1st half it was over. Syracuse was not that good and we were still outclassed. It's a 40 minute game and although we show flashes, we just don't have the players to be a...
It's both a lack of high level talent and talent development. We just don't have the horses anymore to compete at a high level year after year. Besides Adams and Gilbert, I don't see anyone on this roster that has potential to be a difference maker now or in the years to come. At the end of...
UConn 68-64. Terrier hits some key jumpers in the middle of the zone to free up Vital and Adams to hit some key 3's. Terrier finally gets some key assists.
If he finishes all 4 rounds uninjured it will be a success. Hopefully, he won't embarrass himself and finish last by a wide margin. I am a major Tiger fan and will always route for him. He's a fighter and will never quit. It's a process....
