TD Garden waits
The site of a Husky win
Tonight is the night
The victim won't know
Their Aztec from their elbow
Once we are finished
The arena will
Be jumping with UConn fans
So win and advance
It'll be copied, but not duplicated. You have to have a lot of the right players, with vision for the whole court and basketball smarts to run it like we have this year. I don't even think we'll be able to run it as effectively next year without Spencer and Newton.
I've always been a bit more neutral on Duke than most of this board, partly because I consider UNC to be as big if not a bigger obnoxiously arrogant mob. But hiring the whiny child Scheyer as their coach won't let me go there yet. Perhaps had we beat them out for this year's #1 recruit ...?
And guess who is #1?
The blurb (I know, "doomed", right?):
"Clear favorite - and for good reason." I like that.
By the way, Mr. SDSU "UConn is not a blue blood." For what it's worth, SDSU is his #16.
Not the kind of 2nd half you want, but it didn’t matter. The 3 shooting was universally terrible, by everyone. That’s not likely to happen again, but something to focus on. The games only get tougher from here.
Dominating the paint against Northwestern wasn’t difficult, it’ll be harder...
No, not Kentucky
Nor ‘Nova, nor UNH
Too many to count
Wildcats aplenty
All over the sports landscape
Do we need them all?
Northwestern also
Is known by that moniker
Make them feel regret
Embrace a new name
They will soon be: ‘Rented Mules’,
As in, ‘beaten like’
I’d love to see a 20 point win, but I’m anticipating that the game may be competitive. This team without the 2 injured starters just beat an FAU that was in last years Final Four. They can shoot the three, and they have a stud performer. If we are on our game on both ends we should be fine...
VT playing hard and smart, and Duke seems not to have much of a clue on offense. Not sure what they’re trying to accomplish. If Vermont was hitting their open shots they’d be ahead.
Geez, I don’t know, I was astonished at how Calipari got every ounce of talent on his team to play at and above their ability. And the plays he drew up, dissecting the defense, masterful! Especially down the stretch. It was a coaching tour de force.
Truly impressive!!
Kentucky may eventually ”out-talent” Oakland, but their offensive and defensive schemes are mediocre and vanilla. It’s semi-organized pick-up ball.
The studio guys interviewed Cal and he was bragging about all the guys he’s had drafted and how they’ve made “4 billion dollars” in the NBA.
You...
Oh, I don’t know. College kids are gonna college kid - HS student visits his freshman brother and gets needled, probably has never happened before or since. He was very complementary of DH‘s coaching at the end.
I understand that caveat, but if Carter was capable of playing in a NCAA game then he should have played if his team was playing, or PC should have declined the bid.
I watched, and BC isn’t good. Their best player had foul trouble and wasn't effective against Oduro, who also wasn’t good. PC...
