Didn't see this a bashing at all, just some time prospective and what she'd do "as an adult".
Having graduated from UConn (undergrad) and Stanford (Grad), yeah I can second that sentiment.
I was at the game, Stanford looked good, real good. Their defense, particularly in the paint, was OUTSTANDING!! Prechtel (#11) held her own against a much talker and athletic TN center (Key), and not just for a possession or two, she did is all night. TN just could not get their inside game...
Wow, reminiscing about these match-ups makes me realize how far the mighty (Duke) have fallen... they were a staple in the Top 10 for seemingly decades … maybe this year they'll right the ship... they've had the talent recently, just not the results... fortunately, others have risen to take...
I thinking … green lighting AO shooting brings a buzz around the team and puts bottoms in the seats. EDD said she's "fun to watch", so maybe they're building a fan base around AO.
I believe Sabrina Ionescu of Oregon said same thing, and it's working out nicely for her!
Had Destiny stayed at Maryland, she (and the program) may have been in similar positions...
Cal lost a lot to graduation and transfer... next year will likely be a rebuilding year.
Might catch lightening in a bottle, but it's highly unlikely they loss to Cal in the opener..
