Maddox really nice length for his height with unlimited range- very athletic- nice player- needs to be coached on shot selection.
I agree with Conwell- was very impressed in about the 1/2 dozen times I saw him play this year- good shooter- willing defender- decent athlete for his size & strong...
Not surprised- go chase your dreams Karaban- you are & will always be a UConn legend in my eyes!
You starting & stepping on the court that first UConn game you played in- to me was the turning point of this program offensively- the team was never the same offensively for the better from day 1...
Yea I am not discouraging any young kid or anyone at all to make as much money as possible given what the market offers them- we are an open market & live in a capitalist country- which I love!
Just repeating what Hurley has now said on multiple occasions as far as how he looks at NIL &...
Listen at the end of the day- as Hurley said if the kid or player is going to start the conversation about how much money can they get it’s probably not a good fit for UConn anyways.
With that said, I would imagine that McNeely knows that already & is coming for a visit not because of just how...
Thanks Mr. French.
My two main points on this thread when it comes to Brea is the following;
- Saw people comparing him to a Spencer comp- which again I don’t think he’s as valuable or as good as went Spencer decided to transfer here
- Someone replied back to me saying that I am nuts to say...
He would be my top priority- this kid can flat out play & has a matured game for a HS player- think he would fit our offensive sets flawlessly as well. Sorry if it feels like I am hyping him up a bit, just very impressed from the games & tape I’ve seen on him.
As I said I we can agree to disagree & I respect your opinion. Remember my original statement is I would take him on UConn- the discussion between us was more of which player would have a bigger impact in Brea or McNeely & I think McNeely & you think Brea. Great discussion- thanks for the...
Go watch the tape- he has been a negative in every other aspect besides his shooting- reason on a borderline NCAA Tournament team over the 4 years he rarely ever started- also in a non power conference that hasn’t been as good as it usually as of late. I’ve seen the kid play over thirty times...
On just about every single mock draft he is either a late first round/second round pick so to stay he would be lucky to be picked in this year’s NBA draft I believe is inaccurate. Obviously we all want him to come back but we need to be honest about his current pro evaluation.
Been watching him for years- really nice stroke- wonderful shooter- poor defender- can’t create his own shot- Spencer was a lot better coming into UConn- not sure why people are hyping him up so much.
Guy would be a lottery pick this year- he is a sure fire NBA Starter at worst- any program be lucky to have him- will elevate any program & will be the talk of college basketball at some point next season…,
To make these declarations seeing what the entire program including Diarra has been able to accomplish over the last two years is irresponsible & disingenuous. I thought Hurley, the coaching staff, & all the players over the last two years has taught us differently.
Some strange posts on this situation. Think the staff sees Reed as a nice complement to Samson in where Reed is stronger & has more girth to deal with the stronger & more physical post players. Gives the staff more fouls to play with & more options. Reed is better than most of you think & does...
Chance of 20 points 20 rebounds in his first game with more than 10 minutes- just amazing- love this program & everything it produces & stands for- just unreal run- go get em Adama!!
I think it’s actually a video that was taken a few years back when Pope wasn’t able to go back to Kentucky when they were honoring the 96’ Championship team.
Sorry for jumping the gun- as I said was super strange video- lol.
Super strange with the BYU court & logos in the back drop- lol. I would stay not a good first step or start as the new Kentucky job.
One of the weirdest things I’ve ever seen to be honest, but I guess it fits with this entire hiring cycle for Kentucky.
On my, how the mighty have fallen.
From day one I always thought Bruce Pearl always made the most sense to be the next Kentucky head coach. Apparently Barnhart never really wanted to hire Calipari at the time & basically was told he had to- he doesn’t like hiring any coach with any baggage at all so I guess that’s why those names...
Go check the first 4 or 5 possessions of the game- Purdue’s defense was atrocious- that is when I turned to my seven year old son & said this game is a wrap- gonna win by even more than I figured- which they didn’t- figured they would win by around 15- would’ve won by 25 though if UConn was more...
Time to show America who the number one program in the nation is & what that looks like- it’s a new day in Men’s College Basketball. The Basketball Capital of the World in UConn.
